Teeth Whitening

Anyone interested in a whiter, brighter smile will want to look into our teeth whitening treatments. More than just a teeth cleaning, a professional, in-office teeth whitening treatment can take out stains and whiten your teeth by several shades. Whitening treatments you do at home can take several days to complete. A teeth whitening treatment in our dental office may take just short of an hour, so it can be very convenient.

Dental Veneers

There are many uses for dental veneers. These paper-thin pieces of porcelain are basically attached to your teeth and cured with a light to give you a beautiful, bright smile. They can be used to strengthen cracked teeth, to fill in gaps between your teeth, or to cover stained teeth that won’t come clean. At the same time, people with crooked teeth may even be able to have porcelain veneers placed over their teeth to give them a straighter look or lengthen them to give them a more desired look.

If you are planning on having porcelain dental veneers placed on your teeth you need to know that they are not removable, so you’ll want to make this decision with our dentist to be sure it is the best option for your situation. If you’re looking for artistically beautiful teeth, you’ll want to seriously consider dental veneers.

Dental Bonding

Dental bonding is a process that uses composite resin to make corrections on imperfect teeth or strengthen chipped or cracked teeth. Dental bonding material can be colored to match the exact color of your natural teeth so it’s virtually unnoticeable. One of the more popular uses for bonding material is to fill gaps in between teeth or reshape or lengthen teeth. Because bonding material is less expensive than the porcelain used in veneers, many patients prefer this material to be used to correct minor imperfections.

Dental Crowns

Dental crowns, also called caps, are restorations that completely surround the tooth to give it added strength. Crowns are fabricated to fit over the remaining structure of your natural tooth and shaped to look as though it was there all along. The purpose of a dental crown is to not only restore the appearance, but also the function of your natural tooth to avoid extracting it.

When you need a dental crown, an impression will be taken and sent to a lab to be designed to fit your exact needs. A temporary crown will be put in place until the permanent crown is ready. With the proper care, dental crowns can last many years.
